Laos assess progress at annual gynaecology and obstetrics conference
Ministry of Health officials working in the field of gynaecology and obstetrics met in Vientiane for their annual meeting yesterday to review progress and discuss plans for 2019.
Participants reported on the progress of their activities and shared future plans.
They heard reports on maternal death rates, the modern management of breast cancer, abnormal uterine bleeding, national guidelines for the treatment of sexually transmitted infections, postnatal nutrition in children, guidelines for the prevention of unsafe abortion, and various case studies.
